PACKAGE OVERVIEW
The Kedarkantha Winter Journey, curated by Ferrantelli Tours and Travels (OPC) Private Limited, is a trail that begins in a quiet mountain village, where wooden houses sit low under winter skies and the forest closes in just beyond the last road.
As you climb, snow appears slowly — first in shaded patches, then across the trail itself. Days are shaped by movement and cold air. Footsteps crunch. Breath becomes visible. Forests feel dense and protective, opening occasionally into clearings where campsites sit wrapped in silence.
Nights are spent in tents under heavy layers, listening to wind move through the trees. Mornings arrive pale and still, the mountains slowly revealing themselves as light spreads across the snow. Summit day begins before sunrise. The climb is steady and quiet, guided by headlamps and shared effort.
At the top, the land opens completely — long ridgelines, distant peaks, and a wide sense of space that makes the cold feel temporary. The descent is lighter. Snow softens. Conversations return. The forest receives you again on the way down. This trek stays with you not for how extreme it is, but for how clearly it introduces you to winter in the mountains — one step at a time.
